Big night for the Flamingo Dancers

Comments

They already have that many Christmas movies on TV?????? Wow! You are going to be blasted with the innocence and joy of Christmas by the time it gets here! LOL What better way to welcome it.
LOL @ it's a large life!! I might describe it in other terms.......
I have always been a sucker for Christmas movies because I like movies that have a happy ending. Remember those animated ones with the voices of Burl Ives and Ethel Merman? I loved them....
...but you are too polite!

Those animated ones with the voices are still my favorites. I've always loved Burl Ives - he used to live here. I guess his widow still does. I may have to look at the TV guide now.

I used to park my children in front of them every year, I suspect more for my sake than theirs!
I love the Christmas movies. Watched Tje Polar Express last night. I think it has become my "new" favorite. I had the fun of watching Frosty with my 2 1/2 year old granddaughter Thanksgiving night. She had never seen it and oh, what fun we had! When the oldre grands are here it will mean multiple showings of The Grinch.

I parked my kids in front of them too - mainly to reinforce that magic feeling of Christmas. Of course, I parked them in front of the oldies too - like 'Leave It to Beaver', 'Father Knows Best'. 'The Patty Duke Show' - all the ones that should have instilled old fashioned values and lots of respect for the knowledge and judgment of their parent. LOL Didn't work.

Exactly. They represent the good part of Christmas, not the consumerism. Good will to all people and that kind of thing
Mine grew up with the Cosby Show, Family Ties - a mixed bag of values there! I think son took after Alex Keaton in Family Ties and is forever embarassed by his parents!
will you be seeing Bad Santa? It's hilarious!!
That was one of last nights efforts! Crossed off the list now.
