gggggrrrrrrr.....kids these days......
I had two excruciating hours of lectures today - 12 noon to 2pm.
So first up, it meant I had to leave home by 11am, which is too early for lunch if you have had a late breakfast, but you know that you are going to by hungry by 2pm. First annoyance. However, better that every second week when I have lecutrers straight from 10-2pm with no more than a 10 minutes break at 11.50am.
Then the lecturer room smelt as though they had dug up an old professor from his tomb and planted him in the air conditioner. Because we are only on campus for a couple of weeks we get all the dodgy lecture rooms - not the newly refurbished ones in the Social Sciences/Education building, but the smelly, crusty ones in the Architecture building or the old Science building....ugh. Even opening the fire escape door and logging it back with a chair to allow air in, didn't help. I must admit that as our lecturer droned on I thought about adding his body to the air conditioner count - his PowerPoint presentation was from 2001 - it wasn't even current!
Then the Canadian pack came and sat next to me. They never shut up! Five exchange students, nice kids, but they are so loud and just never shut up. Annoyance 3.
Annoyance 4 - the 3 Queen Bees who sat behind me and also talked and chattered all the way through the 2 hours. Annoying not because I wanted to listen to the lecture because it was so stupid and such a waste of time, but because what the Queen Bees talked about was even more mindless and stupid.
THEN Mr FD, who is still using my car, was suppose to be waiting for me outside - and he wasn't was he - he was late and I had to stand there wondering where the hell he was, in the hot sun, with an empty stomach.
NOT HAPPY!

Well actually the weather man said it was going too - but we actually have cloud cover today!!!! Yesterday was a glorious 25C and sunny - got to love Brisbane in the winter!
Thank you for your stroking!
Good luck with all those assignments.
