raining and pouring
Our rain gauge has recorded 169 millimeters of rain since Friday. That is about 465 points. And it is still raining! Happy rain dance!
On the way to work I saw 3 lanes of traffic slow to an almost halt to allow a magpie bird who was so drenched that he couldn't fly to walk across the road.
I had a road duel with a bike rider this morning. I wanted to get around him, or pass him, but he couldn't/wouldn't go to the side of the road for parked cars and torrents of rain in the gutters. We both had to pull up to allow a bus to pull away from the kerb. As the bus drove away a sheet of water flew off the roof of the bus and drenched the bike rider. I seized my chance and drove off ahead of the bike rider. I did not laugh...ok I lie, I did smile a lot. Ah he was already wet...
I may go to hell.

Girl, we've had so much rain around here that everything (rivers,lakes and streams) are still flooded and have been since spring started! I think we're going to turn into the new rain forest!
The bike rider thing was too funny! I must be going to hell right along side you! lol
