You not only got through that day, but are still speaking to each other! I stand in awe at the greatness of Flamingo Dancer.
That just sounds too traumatic!! Try and persuade your daughter not to move - ever!
Here's hoping you get more than a 6 month reprieve and Daughter2 will renew her lease. LOL Sounds like she had her whip and instructions at the ready!
Sounds like a day indeed!
I am glad I only took over a ratchet - otherwise I might have ended up with something inplard in my back!
I may be on a long cruise nexr moving day!

and to think she was such a qyuiet gentle chuld!

Isn't is amazing how I can be Queen of the World and yet I cower before one of my own children. I have taught her well LOL!
give the lazy inattentive son a whopping for me. only one question plagues: why do people wash cutlery and dishes (assuming they were cleaned when packed) after a move of only a short distance?
Moving is never fun!!!! When I moved into my current apartment I hired movers to help me out. A job that usually takes several days was done in a few hours! Unfortunately I make much less now than I did when I moved, so I hope to stay in my place till I cann afford moves again!

Well, in this case it was because a lot of it had been stored as D2 had been sharing with a girl who insisted on using all her things...so D2 was only just getting to use a lot of it for the first time!

This lot charged by the half hour! It is a costy endeavour.
ah. (and still the whooping to the son. least make him wash the dishes and utensils by hand or *something*!)
